Obituary of Ona Larae Kinsman

KINSMAN, Ona Larae (Buck) It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Ona into the loving arms of the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Stoney Creek Lifecare in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) in 1985. Loving mother of Betty (Elwood) Laidman of Binbrook, Richard (deceased 2003) and (Dorothy) of Binbrook, Jack (Marion) of Nova Scotia and Joan (Ted) Shelley of Katrine. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Noreen Laidman 1984, son-in-law Fred Burkholder 1993. Ona was a Life Member and Past President of Binbrook Women’s Institute. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, March 25 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (Stoney Creek).
