Obituary of Franc Maucec

MAUCEC, Franc Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, August 9, 2009, in his 74th year. Husband of the late Victoria (Puiul). Loved father of Michael (Heather), Maria (Blair Gilmour). Grandfather of Michael, Brendan, Malcolm. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 13th at 11 a.m. Special thank you to the staff of A1 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkview Nursing Centre and Main East Rest Home for their care over the years. In Franc's memory, donations to the Good Shepherd Centre would be appreciated by the family.
