Obituary of John (Jack) Joseph McLay

McLAY, John Joseph (Jack) (Retired employee of Stelco Frost Fence Division with 41 years of service). Peacefully at Stoney Creek Lifecare Centre on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in his 87th year. John McLay, beloved husband for 63 years of Lillian. Dear brother of Raymond and his wife Patricia. Special uncle of Jim and Angela McLay. Also surviving are other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by his parents, John and Queenie McLay (Nee Able), his brother James and his wife Audrey and his sister Barbara and her husband Jim Marwick. The family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
