Obituary of Lillian Irene McLay

MCLAY, Lillian Irene (nee Spurgeon) Peacefully at the Stoney Creek Lifecare, on Sunday, July 12, 2009 in her 87th year. Devoted wife for 63 years of the late Jack McLay. Sister-in-law to Ray and Pat McLay. Lillian was also loved and will be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Katie Spurgeon and her sister Dolly Spurgeon. The family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 16th at 1 p.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
