Obituary of Jean Dorothea Olesen

OLESEN, Jean Dorothea It is with great sadness that we announce Jean’s passing on Sunday, May 10, 2009 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her loving husband John, parents Lily and Norman Stanton, sister Gladys, brother Derek Stanton, and sister Mona Barnett. Lovingly remembered by her brothers and their families Gordon, Norma and Vina of Europe. She will be forever remembered by her extended family Marilyn and Tom Scott and their families, and also her close friends. Heartfelt thank you to Townsview Lifecare staff for the care and compassion of Jean. A special thank you to Dr. A. Ingram, Anne-Marie Siebert-Tait and the Dialysis staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, and also the D.A.R.T.S staff. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A graveside service will then be held at Eastlawn Cemetery at 1 p.m. In Jean’s memory, donations to the SPCA, Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
