Dear Jane,
Words without touch can make sending heartfelt sympathy so much harder to express. (Having a better talent for words would be a good thing too.)
I'm so sorry that you and your brothers have lost your mother, and that your nieces and nephews have lost their Gramma. The passing of our parents is so complicated - at least it proved so for me. The consolation is perhaps that you will begin to develop a new relationship with your Mom through memory and reflection. She will be close to your heart whenever you need her. Her Spirit will live on.
Hopefully we can share more time and reflections together soon.
