Obituary of John M. Power

POWER, John M. (1919-2009) Passed away peacefully at Mc Master Medical Centre on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in his 90th year. Leaving to mourn, wife Nina, children; Patricia, Derek (Cathy), Nina, Mark (Louise), Moya. Also leaves loved grandchildren Shelley, Shane, Kimberley, Jessie, Leon, Raymond, Keith, Renee, Donna, Jason, Rebecca, Melanie, Adam, Matthew, Sarah and 5 great-grandchildren, and daughter in law Jitka. Predeceased by an infant son Mark (1953) and son John (2007). As well he leaves many friends in St. John’s, Nfld., Wolfville Nova Scotia and Dundas, Ontario. John has been a grateful friend of Bill W. Cremation has taken place. Private Funeral Service was held at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Stoney Creek (905 662-2948). A Memorial Service will be held in Wolfville, Nova Scotia in July. In John’s memory, donations to the Arthritis Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
