Obituary of Barbara Lois Bird

BIRD, Barbara Lois At her residence in Stoney Creek, with her family by her side, on Sunday, April 5, 2009 in her 65th year. Beloved wife of Reverend Canon William Bird. Loving mother of Jean Marshall (Bill), Pauline Ferris, Debbie Martin ( Clay), Rosemary White (Bill), Kathleen Hodgson (Dwayne). Dear grandmother of Adam Mscisz (Sephora), Samantha Mscisz, Graham Marshall (Sam), Curran Marshall, Barret Martin and Connor McGinty. Will also be missed by other family and friends. Barbara was an active member of St. George’s Anglican Church, Stoney Creek, The Women’s Institute (Tapleytown) and The Historical Society (Battlefield). Special thank you to the Emergency Personnel, Dr. Weatherdon and the Staff of the Juravinski Centre for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church (Mud St. and Sixth Rd. E., Stoney Creek) on Thursday, April 9th at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
