Obituary of Isobel Ann Smith (nee Colderley)

SMITH, Isobel Ann (Ann) (nee Colderley) Peacefully at the Mc Master Medical Centre with her family by her side on Sunday June 7, 2009, in her 77th year. Dearly beloved wife of Arthur (Doc) for over 50 years. Loved mother of Michael (Lawrie). Loving Nanna and best friend of Tyler and Hayden. Dear sister of Bill Colderley (Marjorie), Marilynn Holowachuk, and Harry Colderley (Anna). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Ann was a member of the Stoney Creek Quilters Guild, taught quilting and craftmaking for many years, and was a strong member of Anglican Churches in Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Cayuga. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 12th, at 11 a.m.. In Ann’s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Society would be appreciated by the family.
