SOLIC, Petar After a brief illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, January 15, 2009. Petar Solic, beloved husband of Ana. Dear father of Danny and Michael. Deda to Monika and Michael Milan. Loved son of Ljuba Gruich and the late Dragan Solic. Great-nephew of Stojan Solich (Jovanka). Petar will be missed by his Kumovi and many other close friends here and relatives abroad. The family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Road South, Hamilton on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with The Very Reverend Father Lazar Vukojev Officiating. Pomen Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Interment in Eastlawn Cemetery. In memory of Petar, donations to Leukaemia Research or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
