Obituary of Franco Volpini

VOLPINI, Franco Peacefully, with dignity and courage, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the age of 82.Deeply missed by Alma, his loving, cherished and devoted wife of 58 years. Will be sadly missed by his son Enrico and his wife Daniela, daughter Maria Pia and her husband Edward, son Giuliano and his wife Felicia. Cherished grandfather to Cosetta, Valentina, Enrica, Alessandra, Adriana, Giulia and Franco and great-grandfather to Dylan. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Friday, September 25 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. A sincere thank you to all of the staff at Hamilton General Hospital and the ALS team at McMaster Medical Center for their care and compassion.
