Dear Armoral, Bob, Lynda and Wendy,
Just tonight I received an email with the link to read Graydon's newspaper obituary. Eleanor Evenden sent it to me. I will always remember your father as one of my most faithful Songsters, carrying the Songster flag on Songster trips and so often the Corps flag on the march to and from those great open-airs in Montreal. I' also seem to remember when he'd step forward in the open-air to speak in french giving his testimony. He always helped Armoral do her job as songster Librarian. Imagine he lived to be in his year 92!!
As a family you were so fortunate to have him on this earth for so long. I extend my sympathies and condolences to the whole family. My, I haven't seen Wendy in years. I have wonderful memories of you all.
Being no stranger to grief after all that's happened in my life, I know the value of our faith and the support of God's people in times like these. Be assured of our prayers. I'm sure Graydon's singng the bass part in the Heavenly songsters right now. and hearing the Lord's "Well done faithful servant."
Brian joins me in extending our sympathies,
Lorna and Brian Simard

Both of us have known Graydon since we were teenagers with Bob. I have had many conversations with him and we enjoyed many laughs together. Especially the "JB" inside joke.
I had a lot of respect and admiration for him and we will miss his sense of humor and his down to earth ways. He will be missed.
Our sincerest condolences to the family in this time of sorrow.
