Obituary of Lynn Russell Wilcox

WILCOX, Lynn Russell Peacefully at his home, on Saturday June 13, 2009, with his family by his side, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary (Dunnett) for 62 years. Loving father of Barb (Gary Lickman), Sandy (Gene Fama), Pat (Bruce Smith), Heather, Dan (Linda), Ron (Karen), Gary (Shelley), and Sharon Wilcox. Predeceased by his daughter Linda, son Dennis and grandson Brandon. Adored Papa and Great-Papa of Rob (Ashley, Amanda), Brad and Lisa (Emily, Kerri), Mike, Christopher, Sarah, Katie, Mark (Wyatt, Beaudyn, Quintan), Tass (Jade, Sydney). Survived by his one sister, three brothers, many nieces, nephews, friends and special long-time pal of Tom Wallace. Predeceased by one sister and four brothers. Lifetime member of United Brotherhood Carpenters Union Local 18 and 17 year member of Burk’s Falls Legion Branch 405. The family wishes to thank Dr. Holdway, Mary-Ellen, Palliative Care Plus Team, with special thanks to PSW Sharon, for all of their care and support. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.
