Obituary of Dianna Burns

BURNS, Dianna 1954-2009 On October 27, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dianna passed peacefully at the McNally House, Grimsby with her family at her side. Dianna was a loving daughter to Harold and Frances, a wonderful sister to Lyle (Darlene) and to Cheryl (Wayne), a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and cousins and a great-niece to all her aunts and uncles. Dianna was a dedicated employee of Tim Horton's, Oakville for 21 years and an avid and talented quilter with the Stoney Creek Guild. Special thanks are given to Judy and Brandon Clark, to her long time friend Chris Evans and cousin Randy Hannah. The family would like to thank Drs. Arnold and Waddell of the Juravinski Cancer Centre, her family physician, Dr. Shoemaker of the Grimsby Medical Centre, the staff of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and the staff of the McNally House in Grimsby. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN Funeral Home, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 30th, at 11 a.m. lnterment Blackheath Cemetery.
