Obituary of Robert Thomas Furlong

FURLONG, Robert Thomas Passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on April 3, 2009, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Elaine (Vollmer) for 59 years. Loving father of Dennis of Cambridge and Douglas of Waterloo. Cherished papa of Robbie, Joanne, Kimberley, Christopher, Dougie, Leslie, also 10 Great-Grandchildren. Brother of John Furlong of Cambridge. Predeceased by his sister Luella Farncombe, brothers Frank, Marshall, Rae, and parents Fraser and Nettie Furlong. Robert was a retired employee with Canada Coach and Hamilton Street Railway for 40 years. Cremation has taken place. Private family service to be held at a later date.
