Obituary of Lena Gate

GATE, Lena (Robertson) Peacefully at Hamilton Continuing Care, on Monday, April 27, 2009, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late George (2006) and dear mother of the late Victor (1998). Mother-in-law of Hannelore Gate, and sister-in-law of Ann Gate (North Bay). Lena will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews (Robertson Family) Yvonne Baxter, Gail Etherton (Rick), Lome Robertson (Helen), Grace Weirauch, Don Robertson (Earla), Ron Newell (Francine), Bruce Newell (Brenda), (Gate Family) Sharon Fleming, Wayne Gate (Joyce), Rodger Gate (Edith), Bunnie Woods (Glenn), Sandra Kuzel (Joe), Bonita Gate (Grey), Barrie Gate, Kim Gate. We would like to thank the staff at HCC for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave Lena during her stay at their facility, a special thank you to Lorraine, Annie, Sharon and Anne for their continued help and caring. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, May 4th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
