Obituary of Dorothy Ellen Harris

HARRIS, Dorothy Ellen Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Steve Harris. Beloved mother of Alana MacKay (Paul Armstrong) and Linda Carter (Dave). Dear grandmother of Melissa MacKay, Brittany Carter and Braden Carter. Will be sadly missed by many dear friends and family. Special thanks to Marie and Jack Danby for their kindness and support to Dorothy over the years. Dorothy was a volunteer with the Clarion Nursing Home for 19 years, and also with Canadian Blood Services for 4.5 years. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek, Ontario on Friday, April 10, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church, 7 King Street West, Stoney Creek, Ontario, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 9 a.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. www.donaldvbrown.ca
