Obituary of Henry Heikoop

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, Hendrick (Henry) Heikoop was called home to be with his Lord in his 96^th year. Beloved husband of Maria, for 64 years; father to Glenda (John) Farrow, Alice (Ron) Posthumus, Wayne (Brandy), Heather (Pete) Snyder and grandfather to Bryan (Stephanie), Marc (Laura), Kristin, Joshua, Keila (Matt), Samantha and Scott, great-grandfather to Peyton and Jackson. Henry, a beloved child of God, has found comfort in the arms of his heavenly Father. A dedicated family man and wonderful friend Henry will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery prior to the service. Service will take place on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 621 Highway 8, Stoney Creek.
