Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Harrison

HARRISON, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Van Sickle) August 29, 1919 - June 7, 2009 In her 90th year, Margaret has left us to be reunited with the love of her life, Jim, whom Margaret has missed every day for the past 12 years. Mom passed away peacefully at New Village Retirement Home, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Loved mother of Jim (Gyrithe), cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Rick) and Jimy (Jacqueline), proud great-grandmother of Richard and baby Meghan. Sister of Norma Holmes (Robert), aunt to many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a long time member of Stoney Creek United Church. Special thanks to Dr. L. Sewchand and to the at New Village for their compassionate care and kindness. Vistors will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, June 10 from 2 -4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to be held in the DONALD V. BROWN Chapel on Thursday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
