Isobel will be missed very much by her Cheyne family. I remember, as a teen, being amazed that she would put on ice shoes and get herself to church through the worst of weather, when it was so much easier to stay at home. That amazing faith inspired me not to take my mobility for granted. She always had a smile ready and a gentle hug. All the 'wee ones' knew Isobel. We are sad that you are not here with us, but we are glad that you are with the saviour. God bless, Isobel.

Isobel was a dear friend to me. She absolutely loved the dinners we would send over to her and the chocolates that she devoured when she would need a chocolate 'fix'. She was always so appreciative and was a wonderful prayer warrior for many. Her journey near the end was difficult but she inspired so many with her Trust in Her Lord and Saviour. I am thankful that she is finally with her 'Jimmie' as I know how much she loved and missed him. Isobel, I will miss our visits and the meaningful chats over the phone !

Isobel had a happy and positive view on life. We enjoyed her fellowship at Cheyne church and chatting with her at the Stoney Creek market on Thursdays. So wonderful that she is now with her beloved husband and enjoying being in the presence of our Lord. God Bless, Kathy and Richard Clough
