I will miss seeing your big black drive back in & out of your Burwell home Eric. Always so busy, but full of life, love & radiance. I will miss our driveway chats & watching all your beautiful creations come to life like your hand-made Halloween displays, the homemade craftsman column or the look of pride & joy on your face every time you breathed new life into one of your home renovation projects. Every time I look out my window & see the house you made into a loving, charming home, I smile, cry, and remember what a kind & beautiful person you are and always will be in the hearts of your Burwell neighbours. Although we only knew your for a few short years, your light will forever shine in our hearts.

My sincere condolences to Erhard, Heidi, Max and all the others who will be missing Eric. Among other things, I learned from him and the other part of the family in Canada what a long-distance family means. Everytime I met him was like the last time we met was yesterday. One of my favorite memories is when I visited with my parents and Eric led me to drive his truck. It was the trust he had in me in this situation. I was 19 years old, had no knowledge of the canadian driving rules and never drove such a big car before. Also when only we spend two time together by going to the cinema and he cared all the time that I understand all the english. Everyone can learn something from his caring nature. I will miss him very much and wish everyone a lot of strength.

There are so many things that will remind me of
Eric. Meghan’s one of a kind drawer pulls, the Omnicell, classic vs new age Christmas music and so much more. You were King St dialysis, Eric. The kindest human I have had the pleasure to call friend. You will be missed by so many. Rest easy my friend.

The last item I saw Eric he was on sick leave. But instead of resting at home, he drove out of his way to pick up crispy cream donuts for a co-workers birthday. It was a testament to the man he was. Thoughtful, selfless and kind. It was a pleasure to know him. May he be at peace.

Sending sincere sympathies to Erhard and Heidi on the passing of their beloved son and brother.
We have very fond memories of Eric as a young boy playing with our children as neighbours on First Street. He was always very kind and respectful. We know he suffered with health issues over the years. So sad, he will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to Erhard, Heidi, and Max.
I will remember Eric's willingness to help others--even if it put him in difficult or troublesome situations, like when he went the extra mile to help a patient with a locksmith situation. I will remember the twinkle in his eyes when he shared the method behind his creativity, like when answering questions about his handmade cardinal-shaped bird feeder or showing his ingenious method to cut a giant cat wheel. I will remember his excitement when sharing an interesting video or retelling stories, like the one of how he toilet-trained his cat, Junie.
Most importantly, I will always remember his boundless love for Max and Junie and how he always showcased how much he loved them.
Eric will be greatly missed, especially on Sunday mornings.

Eric was always a pleasure to work with and always took time to acknowledge his peers passing through the halls and always has a smile on his face. He was always willing to lend a helping hand even if it wasn’t in his job description (Even If that meant gluing the Tim Hortons lettering back on the wall multiple, multiple times lol) He went above and beyond for his unit on and off the clock. There will never be a Santa quite like Eric ❤️

We are saddened to learn of Erics sudden passing. . We were neighbours of his parents in the early eighties and have fond memories of him and Heidi and have remained friends since. A kind and gentle force taken too early. He was always smiling & joyful no matter where we met up with him in his later years.. He was a positive man despite the many challenges that came his way. GOD bless you all that must carry on in his absence. Reunited with his beautiful mother gone 20 years now.

My favourite memories of Eric involve his inventive spirit and general outgoing attitude. He often had many grand ideas on the go and set out to make them happen whenever he had spare time. Even if his projects didn't always work out as planned, he took it in stride, kept working on them, and loved sharing the results. I found kinship with him there, though I'm sure I lost some of my hearing when he wanted to show off his self-made surround-sound system!
I'm thankful for Eric, and he will be missed. He was as much a member of my family as I can imagine.

My condolences to the entire Bellmer family. I am so sorry for your loss. We are sending you all love and hugs to you all. We are here for you all. Eric was a huge part of our lives. He was a father figure in my life. He always made sure Arthur and I were taken care of and that was very evident when we moved into our first home. He built us stairs and our first bed out of his garage. He spent countless hours helping renovate it to ensure it was perfect and comfortable for us. Eric was always the first one to volunteer to help. He was in fact enthusiastic about it. I can’t even count how many times he helped us and even my family. He had such a caring nature about him. I’ll always remember his love of Coca Cola memorabilia, trains, Van Halen (and the colour red and black), and his love to go all out tor every holiday. In fact once I was sad and having and having a rough week and I showed up at home to my home fully illuminated in lights that he set up to cheer me up. He always went above and beyond to make you feel special. Thank you Eric for the love you poured into our lives and gave to us. May you rest peacefully. We will miss you tremendously.
