Obituary of Eric Frido Bellmer

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Mom called you home on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the age of 53. Loved son of Erhard and the late Ilse (2003). Cherished brother and best friend of Heidi. Devoted father of Max. Eric will be missed by Peggy and her children Arthur (Julia) and Sarah (Mike). He will also be missed by his Tante Evi and his late Uncle Sepp and by his cousins Ron and Margaret and their children Stephanie and Alexandra. Eric will be remembered for his selfless acts of kindness to those who had the honour of crossing paths with him. He was the proud recipient of the Mission Legacy Award with St. Joseph’s Hospital for his ongoing goal of environmental responsibility and recycling of dialysis machines.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or St. Joseph’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
