Obituary of Lloyd James Hurren

Passed away peacefully, at the Lakeview Retirement Centre, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in his 92^nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline of 58 years and his son Doug. Loving father of Cathy and her husband Paul Kay, Carol and her husband David Pratt and daughter-in-law Kim. Dear grandfather of Jamie, Kaely, Andrea, Laura, Billy, Jacob and great grandfather of Isaac, James, Nathaniel, Matthew and Nalia. Lloyd will also be missed by his sister Audrey Kitching as well as members of the McEdwards family. Lloyd was a retired electrician from Stelco with 43 years of service and was a gifted wood craftsman. Special thanks to Iryna and Valery at Lakeview for their excellent care and to all who visited him during his stay there. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 8^th from 5-8 p.m. There will be no Funeral Service.
