My deepest condolences to Lynda and Ken and their families. Your Mom was always one of the kindest people. She always let us neighbourhood kids take over the rec room, and I'll never forget her mini pancakes at the slumber parties. I cannot attend, but my thoughts wil be with you in the next couple days. My deepest sympathies to the Kohut family for your loss. My parents, Ernie & (late) Olga Baryski, knew Elsie from church, and spoke fondly of her. I remember how caring she was when Mom passed away, and I always enjoyed speaking with her when I saw her at church. She always had a sweet smile & a warm hug! I was blessed to have Elsie in my life for over 30 years. She was an amazing Mother In Law and incredible Bubby to her grandchildren. She was always there to lend a hand or a phone call away just to chat. She would greet you with a smile and a big hug goodbye and say “I love you” each time. Mom would joke with me and say “I was her favourite daughter in law” and I would always reply “she was my favourite mother in law.” We would chuckle each time we said this! Deepest condolences to Mrs. Kohut's family from Halia Lypka and family. Mrs. Kohut was a wonderful, caring, loyal friend to Halia (our mother) and were our mother well enough to understand, she would be very saddened to lose such a friend. They and their circle of friends spent countless hours at the church volunteering to organize numerous events over 60 years or more. My mother often spoke highly of her - a true Christian not only in words but in deeds. Please accept our sympathy on your loss. Halia, David, Michael and Chris Lypka.
