Obituary of George William Edward Hattersley

HATTERSLEY, George William Edward Peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, with family by his side, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, in his 79th year. Lifelong companion of Betty Payne. Dearly loved father of Barry, Randy and Kevin Barnard and Donna Scheffee and Debbie Yusek (Vaughn). Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Joyce. Predeceased by his brother Roy and his sister Margaret. Survived by many nieces and nephews. George spent 45 years of service with Fidelity Van Lines. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 6th at 11 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens followed by a reception at the Gladstone Tavern, 1385 Main Street East, Hamilton.
