Dear Joanne and Russell and your families, as well as James, son of the late Shirlee. I remember your mother/grandmother so well. She was a wonderful, cheerful person who with your father/grandfather were very close friends with both of my parents, the late Des and Peggy Little. Edna was my Sunday School teacher in my youth and it is she who got me to memorize the 66 books of the Bible, which I remember to this day! My "Auntie Edna" was in my life for more than 70 years. Hard to imagine her not being there. Condolences to Russ and his family, and Joanne and her family, as you mark the passing of a remarkable woman. May we all lead such long and happy and productive lives! The end of the era with the earlier passing of "Uncle Jim" and my Mom and Dad.

I met Edna decades ago when my then husband, Lloyd Allingham, and I first became clients of Jim's. I was struck by her warmth the first time we met, and always remembered her. Later I became a client of Russ's, and was impressed by how fondly he spoke of her. She'll leave a very big hole in the family, but cherish the wonderful memories she created. Joan Little
