Obituary of Norma Irene Kellogg

KELLOGG, Norma Irene (nee Cocks) At the Parkview Nursing Centre, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in her 77th year, ending a long journey with Alzheimers. Norma Irene Kellogg, beloved wife of Ed Kellogg for 51 years. Proud mother of David (Pam), Sheila, and Bruce (Sandy) and Nana to Kaitlin, Jennifer, Jonathan and Ryan. Sister of Cam Cocks (Margaret). Retired for Henry Birks and Sons, Norma was a 40 year member of the Girl Guides, including Hamilton Area Commissioner 1979-1984. Norma was also a long time member of Ryerson United Church, Ancaster with a lifetime membership in the U.C.W. Thank you to Dr. Klinghoffer and the Staff of Parkview for their excellent care of Norma, especially those who made additional effort to give extra comfort to Norma. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in Stoney Creek Cemetery beside her dearly loved aunt Margaret Grainger and her maternal grandparents. A Celebration of her life and a reception will be held at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson St., Ancaster on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ryerson United Church, The Girl Guides or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
