My love and thoughts are with you all at this time.
Mr and Mrs Kerr were my Hamilton mom and dad when I moved to Hamilton in 1979. They welcomed me as part of the family and many happy times were spent with them and Jane and Rob.
For that and their love I will always be grateful.

Christa phoned our home on Saturday morning to let us know Martin had gone to be with the Lord the day before. We know he is fine now, and we are so happy and grateful to God we can say that, but we want to express our most sincere sympathies to you who will be missing him. (I went to find his obituary this a.m. and found myself grinning back at the picture of him you chose!)
We will be keeping you in our prayers, for special blessing and comfort, today and in the days and weeks ahead.
Jean was reminding me yesterday that, like us when my mom went Home in August, the best thing you, his children and grandchildren especially, can do in his honour, is to live in obedience for the Lord he loved.
Warm love in the Lord,
Ruth Cusson, for Jean and myself
(Jn 11:15,26)

My deepest sympathies on the loss of a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother and a friend.
I have many happy memories of time spent in the Kerr household, tract band nights and gathering around the piano for those Sunday night sings! Hold on to the memories.
May God grant you strength and comfort you in the days ahead. What a joy it is to know that one day we too will be with our Lord.

Nephew Stephen J. Bramer
I remember my Uncle Martin as a quiet, godly man who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. I remember when, as a little boy, my parents Doug and Vera Bramer told me that if something ever happened to them that Uncle Martin and Aunt Helen would take care of me. That was of tremendous comfort to me at that time.
My prayers are with his family. I rejoice that he is now at home with the Savior he loved.

Martin,
"a faithful man" (Proverbs 20:6, 28:20)
"a faithful servant" (Numb 12:7, Math 25:21)
"a faithful friend" (Proverbs 27:9)
Each one has their own individual and unique memories of Martin and we thank God for the unbroken fellowship and friendship that has spanned many years.
The loss by so many is great, but none will feel it more than Helen and each one of the family.
May you know the sufficiency of the Lord's grace in the time of your sorrow. For God is both "faithful" and therefore "unfailing" (1 Cor 1:9, 10:13)
