Obituary of Douglas McClung Laidman

LAIDMAN, Douglas McClung Peacefully, at West Lincoln Hospital, on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (2007). Loving father of Evelyn (Dennis) Mordue. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Michelle (fiancée Dan), Jacqui (Mario) Kulina and Ed. Great-grandfather of Krystina (Krissy) and Kevin. Brother of Red (Joan), and Don (Edith). Brother-in-law of Angus Ptolemy, Craig and Marguerite Ptolemy and the late Gord and Joyce Ptolemy. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.
