Obituary of Leonard Arthur Lain

LAIN, Leonard Arthur “Len” Passed away peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the age of 77. Will be sadly missed by the love of his life, his devoted wife, Elizabeth. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara. Cherished father of Cynthia and her husband Jerry Johnson, Jeffrey and his wife Colleen, Bill and his wife June Neilson, Carole and her husband Pete Kaufhold. Much loved grandfather of Will, Sarah, Daniel, Kelsi, Emily, Karly, Andrew, Jessica and Olivia. Dear brother of Nancy Manners and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Len will be deeply missed by his family at Stoney Creek Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, head usher and on the trustee board. He was actively involved as a facilitator with the Self Esteem Network of Hamilton. He was also a member of the Argyle and Sutherlands Association. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Self Esteem Network of Hamilton would be greatly appreciated by the family. We will all miss your hugs.
