Obituary of Margaret Long

LONG, Margaret Peacefully at the Heritage Green Nursing Home on Saturday, February 4, 2012, in her 90th year. Loved mother of James (Monica), Douglas (Ruth), Lynda (Charles), and William (Susan). Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Edna Haye. Predeceased by her brother Allen and sisters Mary and Alice. Margaret was a retired employee of Parke and Parke Drugs retiring as Office Manager after 25 years of service, a member of the Liberal Party of Canada and an avid Tiger Cat fan. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 7th from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
