We had to thank Walter for giving us a chance to go into business.
He gave us a loan ( when Royal Bank would not after 30 years a customer ) Walter said go ahead and start writing cheques. ??
We paid him back in 7 months.

I have such fond memories growing up with the Long family as neighbours. A house filled with music, ice skates and laughter. I remember calling on Cathy for school and Walt putting on his tie for work, smiling into the mirror and making us laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of "Wally". At this time let's remember the laughs we had at the cottage when Wally would score keep for the horseshoe games & "cheat" to "up" the score for Greg & Terry vs. Uncle John & I. Our thoughts are with you. Take care.
Our thoughts are with Joyce and the family on losing Walt. It brings back many fond memories of golf, weddings and other occasions. Walt was a true gentleman.
