Obituary of Beryl Lucas

LUCAS, Beryl (nee Maguire) - At the age of 88, on December 23, 2011 our Dad, Don Lucas called Mom to spend Christmas with him. Our hearts are broken, but we find great comfort in knowing they are together again. Mom left us with a lifetime of wonderful memories and taught us unconditional love and the value of family. The world is a better place because of our Mom. Her children Bill (Joanne) of Woodstock, Darlene Walton (Gary)of Guelph, Dolores Raycraft (John) of Stevensville, Beth Constantini (Tony) of Florida and Paddie Lucas (Steve Stone) of Grimsby as well as her eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren would like to thank the amazing staff at Lincoln Park Retirement Home who have become family to us over the past five years. Mom will also be missed by her many, many friends at Lincoln Park. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Lincoln Park Suites, Grimsby towards a tribute bench in Mom’s name.
