Obituary of Colin MacDonald

MAC DONALD, Colin Peacefully, at his home on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Colin went to be with his Lord, at the age of 75. Loving husband for 53 years of Ruth (nee Dorman). He will be forever treasured by his children Colleen (Al), Connie (Barry), Fred and Rose (Jim). Predeceased by his parents and brother. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Kay and Mary Ellen and his brother Fred. Loved grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Uncle Collie will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He loved spending his summers at the cottage in Barry’s Bay and those precious memories will be forever cherished by all those that spent time with him there. Family and friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Saturday, September 6th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, September 7th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at The Creek Community Church, 605 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Monday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
