Obituary of Dorothy Isabelle MacDonald

MACDONALD, Dorothy Isabelle (Dolly) Born March 8, 1934 in Priestville, Nova Scotia, Dorothy passed away peacefully in Hamilton, surrounded by her family, on the morning of October 20, 2010, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of George (Red) MacDonald for 59 years. Loving mother of nine children; Linda (Myles), Marilyn(Randy), Kenneth (Vera), Sandra (Bob), Catherine (Pierre), Gregory, Thomas (Sandra) and John (Richele). Predeceased by daughter Deborah. Dorothy was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed and always remembered in all of our hearts. Relatives and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 23rd at 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
