Obituary of Helen May Mackenzie

MACKENZIE, Helen May March 22, 1927 - August 17, 2011 She leaves for a while her loved and loving husband, Alastair, whom she married on December 1, 1945. Sadly missed by her children Lynda (David) Wainscott, Bonnie (Wayne) Zimmerman, Gordon (Karin) Mackenzie and Barbara (Brian) Walker. Helen was a loving grandmother to eleven grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church and a "white gloves" (elevator) gal at Eatons for 34 years. She was loved by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Helen's life will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 1 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 92 Parkdale Ave. North, Hamilton.
