Obituary of Marilyn Shirley MacNaught

MacNAUGHT, Marilyn Shirley (nee Anderson) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a very special wife, mother and grandmother, in her 76th year, on Friday, July 6, 2012. Marilyn passed peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. She will be forever missed by her devoted husband Dave, daughters Kim (Phil), Lori (Brad), and sons Tom (Vicki) and Jamie (Fiorina) and grandchildren Katelyn, Cody, Jessica, Abby, Olivia and Cole. Marilyn is survived by her brothers Lloyd Anderson (Alma), Larry Anderson (Nancy), Pastor Bill Anderson (Carol), Cheryl Palen (Mike), Jan Ayers (Brian) and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, July 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church 7 King St. West at First St. S. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation. The MacNaught family express heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of St. Peter’s Hospital for the kind and dignified care Mom received during her stay.
