Obituary of Harold Benjamin Bartlett

BARTLETT, Harold Benjamin January 8, 1922 - July 30, 2013 Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital with his daughter Gail by his side on July 30, 2013 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Donna Morgason. Cherished father of Gail Bartlett-Tondina and her husband Gianpiero Tondina. Fondly remembered by his step-son John Morgason, step-daughter Michelle McColl (Ian) and their families. Predeceased by his wife Bette Bartlett (2001), sister Ruby Ritchie and brother Willis Bartlett. Also remembered by many family and friends. Harold served with the West Novies during WWII and fought in the Italian campaign in 1944. He is a retired employee of Dofasco with over 30 years of service. Special thanks to the staff on the 6th floor surgical unit at St. Joseph's Hospital for their compassion and care. Also to his PSW Mary M. for her kindness, and the VON Nurses. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 15th from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. to celebrate his life. A private family interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations to The Good Shepherd Centre would be appreciated.
