Obituary of John Markovic

MARKOVIC, John It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Markovic at his home on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the age of 45. Beloved father of Riley. Cherished son of Slavna Komljenovic. Loving brother of Dennis and his wife Anita, and sister Jelena Zolis and her husband Johny. Loved uncle of Sarah, Gracie and Stefano. John will be dearly missed by many family and friends in Canada, United States and Srbija. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Rd. S.) on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The Very Reverend Father Lazar Vukojev officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
