My heart goes out to the entire Martin Family,I just happened to see the obituary today as I was looking back at my Dad's who died 12 days earlier on June 12th.I was so shocked to see Marian's name,as I looked it up I was praying it was another Marian Martin,unfortunately not. I always remember Dodi and I watching Marian getting ready to go out for the evening.We watched in awe as she applied her makeup ever so perfectly that made her even more beautiful,I remember thinkng I hope I can do that some day.Although I knew the entire family I was three years younger than Marian so closer to Dodi and Michael. We all went to St.Francis together.I am SO SORRY for your great loss,may God bless you all. Wish I had seen this earlier I certainly would have come to the celebration of her life. gail.maclellan1@gmail.com

Marian was my classmate from Grade one until grade 8 at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School in Stoney Creek. We shared many laughs & fun times during those innocent years. Running down the hallways and hiding from the vicious Sr. St. Fabian. Standing on the toilets in the washroom was a favorite hiding place. Marian was part of our little gang (age 10) called the Zombies. Marylou McDonald, Denise Desrochers, Gail Macdonald and myself. We had a blast! She is a special part of my past that I will forever carry. I smile when I remember those days. 'Til we meet again.
