Obituary of Lois Marian Beattie

BEATTIE, Lois Marian Lois passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, at the Heritage Green Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, August 30, 2012, in her 84th year. Loving mother of Tom and Diane Bryson, Don and Grace Bryson, Kirk Bryson, Scott Bryson and Robin and Cam Mahy. Dear grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Lois is also survived by her sister Barb Rodgers. Lois touched the lives of cancer survivors through the business she started; Lois’s Boutique. She was able to assist many through the provision of prosthesis, wigs, and clothing altered to their individual needs. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, September 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private service will be held at a later date.
