Obituary of Ruth Mildred Mayhew

MAYHEW, Ruth Mildred (nee Lawson) Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Sunday, May 18, 2008, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of John (Jack) Mayhew. Loved mother of Robert Mayhew (Hilda), Bonnie Friesen, Randy Mayhew, Douglas Mayhew (Shelley), Gloria Turner (Donald). Loving grandmother of Lesley and James Mayhew, Laura and Sarah Friesen, Brett and Amy Mayhew, Melissa and Michael Turner and a great-grandson Braeden Bond. Private Cremation has taken place. An open house to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at the Stoney Creek United Church, 1 King Street West at Lake Ave. S., Stoney Creek, on Sunday, May 25th from 1 until 4 p.m. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, the C.C.A.C. and Care Plus for all their care and compassion.
