Obituary of Gordon McDonald

McDONALD, Gordon (1955-2013) With broken hearts, we announce the sudden death of a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. After battling illness for several years, Gord passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Gord was a retired steelworker with a playful sense of humour, and a great love for the outdoors. Loving and proud father of Michael (Leigh), Matthew (Joanne), and Mark (Keri). Beloved brother of the late Bill Hedderson (Chris), late James McDonald (Barb), Sandy Anderson (Don), Fred McDonald (Peggy) Patsy Donahue (Danny) and Scott McDonald (Tanya). His greatest legacy was his gift of love for his cherished grandchildren Andrew, Meghan, Patrick, Nolan, Griffin and Logan. "Uncle Gord" will also be missed by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. A special thanks to all of his close friends that helped take care of him to the end. Cremation has taken place.
