I was so sorry to hear about your Mom's death. She was very blessed to have all her children present when she returned home to God. Your Mom and mine were very good neighbours over the fence as they shared their pregnancies with Michael and Colin. She was among the first people to hire me as a babysitter. Her home was always open. I was so glad to have met her again in Hamilton two years ago. She was a woman of courage and her legacy to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren is one of courage, strength and faith. She made new beginnings for herself and she is to be admired for this. It is never easy to lose a parent but you children have been challenged in your grief. Be very kind to yourselves and to each other during the days ahead. Know that I am thinking and praying for you. I so wish I could be there for you. Blessings and love. Helen,pbvm

To The McDonald Family: No words at this time can take away the pain and sorrow that you are enduring; on the passing on your mom. Wish I could be there with you at this difficult time but please know that my thoughts and heart are there. Aunt Patsy was certainly a wonderful and very special mother to all of you and the best grandmother anyone could hope to have! Cherish the good times which there certainly were plenty of.
