Obituary of Donald McEachern

McEACHERN, Donald Peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at the Hamilton General Hospital, in his 72nd year. Loved husband of Jean McEachern. Cherished father of Tim and his fiancée Wendy and Jeff and his wife Lisa. Dear brother of Murray, Marion, Jean, Doris. Predeceased by his brothers Bob and Jim. Will be missed by his cousins Bob, Betty and Mary-Katherine Morrison. Will also be missed by many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Don was a member of the Beach Lodge #639 A.F. and A.M. and Iron Workers Local 736 since 1956. He was also very active in hockey and baseball and was the founder of T-Ball in 1959 in Stoney Creek. A special thank you to Gary and Cindy Swarbrick and Nazir and Mina. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
