Obituary of Catherine Symon McKinlay

McKINLAY, Catherine Symon (nee Adair) November 10, 1924 - September 29, 2013 Passed away peacefully at the Queens Garden Nursing Home, Hamilton, in her 89th year. Loving wife of Allan McKinlay for 71 years. Dear mother of Ann Pringle (Allan) of Scotland, Rose Brown (Ed) of Stoney Creek, Alan McKinlay (Diane) of Toronto and Andrew McKinlay (Kathy) also of Stoney Creek. Granny and Great-Granny to 10 grandweans and 10 great-grandweans. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Glasgow and Douglas, Scotland. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, October 1 from 3-5 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.
