Dave and Gil shall remain great gentlemen in my heart forever. They gave me part time employment from 1975 to 1980 driving a school bus while I attended McMaster University. They taught me respect, kindness and treated everyone who worked for them like family. For this I am truly thankful because they armed me with a life long skill in how to treat people. RIP Ken S (Bus 222).

To: Dorothy McLeod & her 5 Daughters Bobbie, Carole, Katie, June & Susan:
My love and sympathy are with you with the passing of your husband and father David McLeod. Please give my condolences to the rest of the family. Something I will never forget after leaving Holland and coming to Canada. Shortly after we arrived in Stoney Creek my father went to McLeod Motors to buy his first car. The car was not a Chrysler Convertible which apparently your father had a love for but it was a 1941 Dodge. It is with heart felt regrets that I will not be able to attend the funeral of your father.

"Death leaves a pain that it seems nothing will heal, but love leaves a memory nothing can steal."
Mr. McLeod was an exceptional man who dedicated his life to his family, and you in return unselfishly dedicated yourselves to caring for him, especially in his last few months. I am proud to have been one of his part time caregivers, even though it was for a very short time, as well as someone who knew him since I was a young student riding one of his buses to school!
Look up at the clouds...I know you'll see him looking at you and smiling. And in all your sadness, remember the wonderful memories; hopefully they'll help you to smile again soon.
