METE, Philip At his daughter Gina’s home, on Sunday, January 23, 2011 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Angelina. Loving father of Ralph (Judy), Jim (Barbara) and Gina (Sergio) and Ron (Janice). Dear Nonno of Philip (Georgia), Tracey (Dan), Leanne (Chris), Diana (Mark), Daniel (Lisa), James ,Megan, Michael, Harrison, Jaclyn, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Gabriel and Spencer. Survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in both Canada, Italy and Australia. Special thanks to Shannon (Red Cross), Leonna (Palliative Nurse) and Dr. Chris Ambis for all of their tremendous care. The family will receive friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, January 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 26th at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery.
