Obituary of Robert Edgar Moffatt

MOFFATT, Robert Edgar Passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Pine Villa Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Ethel. Bob was born on April 2, 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Jo) of 58 years; children Karen Jacobs (Clyde), Allan (Sue), Katherine Terrana (Joe) and Larry. Grandfather of Kelly, Shannon, Lindsay, Kaitlyn, Brittany and Hailey. Brother of John (Mary), Joan and Margaret and will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family who were also lifelong friends. Bob exemplified hard work as he was self taught in many things. An artist, musician, carpenter and gardener. An employee of Dofasco for 32 years. We are grateful for his sister’s devotion and care during his time at Pine Villa. We would also like to thank the Pine Villa Staff for their care and support. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 26th at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
