Obituary of Annie Jean Moore

MOORE, Annie Jean Jean passed away peacefully, at the Arbour Creek Long Term Care Centre, on Saturday, April 7, 2012, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William Moore. Loving mother of David and his wife Thelma of Grimsby, Sharon Moore-Tompkins of Dunnville, Bill and his wife Marianne, Steve and his wife Darlene all of Stoney Creek and Heather Moore of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Gordon Johnston (Florence), Bob Johnston (Leannis) and predeaceased by her sister and brother-in-law Mae and Ken Legere. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean was a devoted leader in the Boy Scouts of Canada for 35 years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. Private interment to follow in Mildmay.
